Glamping in Fúquene

All six Fúquene stays are associated with two cities at once, Bogotá and Tunja. It is an uncommon case in Cundinamarca and it makes sense: the lagoon is on the border with Boyacá, about 80 km from Bogotá.

If you are coming from the capital, Fúquene is a trip north, beyond the sabana. If you live in Tunja, it is on the Boyacá side for you. Either way, confirm the exact route and the condition of the last stretch with the host.

Being in Fúquene doesn't mean you will see the lagoon. Find out from each place where the water can be seen from, whether from your bed or only from a common area, and how far it is to walk to the shore. Sky Glamping Colombia, a dome, is the only one that marks a lake; Glamping El Mirador suggests a view in its name, so it is worth asking what you can see.

At 2,540 meters of altitude, the night matters: ask what heating or blankets the unit has and whether the bathroom has hot water.

Laguna de Fúquene is a freshwater body shared by Cundinamarca and Boyacá. Its water surface is at 2,540 meters above sea level; Bogotá is about 80 km away.

All six listings belong to the municipality of Fúquene, about 11 km from that reference point. Among the names are Cabañas Camino Al Cielo and Aldea Fuquenence, the municipality's two cabins; the other listings are advertised as glamping or dome.
