Glamping in Chocó

What each one publishes, from north to south and inland:

• Ecolodge El Almejal, in Bahía Solano, combines beach, river, pool, pets and the couples theme: it is the listing with the most themes in the department.
• Also in Bahía Solano is Ecolodge Playa Alegre, a cabin and ecolodge with a beach.
• Posada Turistica Las Palmas, in Nuquí, is the only one with a jacuzzi and fireplace.
• La Martina Ecolodge, also in Nuquí, marks beach, river and view.
• In Quibdó, Entreselvas Glamping is the only one published as a glamping.

In Nuquí and Bahía Solano, logistics rule. Ask whether the transfer from the airport or the dock is included, and whether it's by boat or over land. Ask whether the beach is in front of the ecolodge or a walk away, and whether the river is good for swimming. Ask which meals the rate includes, because in remote areas there isn't always somewhere to eat nearby. And ask about electricity: whether there is power all day or only at certain hours.

Quibdó is the capital of Chocó and lies inland, far from the sea. Nuquí and Bahía Solano are on the northern Pacific coast, each with its own page. Between the capital and the coast there are no stays on the list, so a glamping trip in Chocó is, almost always, a trip to the sea. In Bahía Solano, the municipal seat is called Ciudad Mutis, and it's the name you'll see on tickets and signs.
