## Cesar, between Valledupar and the Serranía del Perijá

Cesar is in the north of Colombia and its capital is Valledupar. To the east, the department borders the Serranía del Perijá, the name that appears in two of the listings: Mirador Del Perija and Tierra Escondida Perija. To the north it touches the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, where the Guatapurí River rises and flows past Valledupar.
